Overview

A bone conductor, also known as bone conductor transducers, is an audio device that transmit sound directly to the inner ear by sending vibrations directly through the bones of the face, also if pressed against a flat surface or cavity it turns it into a speaker!

The primary difference between a bone conductor transducers and a traditional speakers is the way they transmit sound, though both work on the principle of vibrations. A speaker vibrates the diaphragm which in turn push and pull the air to propagate sound waves whereas a bone conductor sends the vibrations through the surface.

This transducer weighs around 9.6g and has 8 ohm impedance with a power rating of 1 watt RMS/2 watt max.
